Last updated: 4 May 2026. REFAB 3 HOMES LLC uses a tiny number of strictly-necessary first-party storage entries. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking.

01. Categories.

Strictly necessary. These keep the editorial functioning consistently across pages — the age-confirmation flag and the cookie-consent record. We use only these.
Analytics. None at present.
Advertising. None at present, and we do not currently plan to add any.

02. Inventory.

03. Local-storage mirrors.

Both values above are mirrored in your browser's localStorage with a matching _exp sibling that records the expiry timestamp. The mirror is what keeps the editorial consistent when the file is opened directly from disk (a setup some readers use for offline reading) — browsers treat each file:// URL as a separate origin, so a cookie set on one page is invisible to the next. localStorage is shared between pages of the same directory tree and survives the page navigation.

04. Reopen the cookie controls.

To withdraw your consent or change it, clear the values via your browser's site-data tools. The next time you load the page the cookie banner will reappear. We do not currently provide an in-page reset pill (we may add one in a future issue if readers ask for it).

05. Browser-side controls.

If you would like to remove the values manually:

Chrome / Edge / Brave. Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data → See all cookies and site data → search "caribooedge" → delete. Local-storage entries appear in the same list.
Firefox. Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search "caribooedge" → Remove Selected.
Safari. Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search "caribooedge" → Remove.
Mobile Safari. Settings (iOS) → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → swipe-delete the REFAB 3 HOMES LLC row.

Most browsers also offer a global setting to block all cookies, or to clear them when the browser closes. REFAB 3 HOMES LLC will keep working with cookies blocked — the trade-off is that the age gate will re-prompt on each page.

06. Third-party cookies.

We do not set third-party cookies. The Google Fonts CDN and our hosting provider may use technical request metadata to deliver the page (HTTP headers, IP address) but do not write cookies into your browser via the way we embed them.

07. Changes.

If we ever add an analytics or advertising tool, we will list it on this page with a name, purpose, expiry, and a refreshed cookie banner that re-asks for your consent.
